Meet Dr. Rearden and Staff
Dr. Rearden was born and raised in Opelika, AL, graduating from Opelika High School
in 1966. He attended Auburn University, graduating with a B.S. degree in 1970. Dr.
Rearden received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama Dental School
in 1974, graduating third in his class. While he was in dental school, he was inducted
into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, an honor only bestowed upon
the top 5% of each class. He also received the Dr. William McCracken Memorial Award
for displaying perfection and excellence in the field of partial denture prosthodontics,
and the Dr. Joseph P. Lazansky Memorial award for displaying perfection and excellence
in the field of oral surgery.
Dr. Rearden is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association,
and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has served as president of the Ninth District
Dental Society of the Alabama Dental Association.
Dr. Rearden is a lifetime member of the Alabama Sheriffs Boys and Girls Ranches
Builder Club, and he participates in Donated Dental Services to the National Foundation
of Dentistry for the handicapped, disadvantaged and elderly.
Dr. Rearden and his wife are members of the First Baptist Church of Opelika, and
he is a member of the Opelika Kiwanis Club. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating
and spending weekends at Lake Martin with his family.
